This weekend is chock full of performances from folk musicians from all over the southwest - all categories! See you there! I will be at the La Cochina Stage. Have lunch and listen in.

The center of Folk Festival activity is El Presidio Park in downtown Tucson, bounded by Alameda Street on the north and Church Avenue on the east. There you'll find the Plaza Stage, the Kitchen Store (information and CD & T-shirt sales) and Food & Craft vendors. Other stages are located at the Old Pima County Courthouse just east of the park, and at the Tucson Museum of Art and Old Town Artisans, both just north of Alameda Street.

Experience Saddle Up! Pigeon Forge, a four-day celebration of cowboy culture like you’ve never seen. Here you’ll find cowboy-themed activities, such as the Buckaroo Roundup, the Chuckwagon Cookoff and the Cowboy Dance. The event wraps up with the chuckwagon breakfast followed by Cowboy Church on Sunday morning. Gear up for a weekend chock full of country and western concerts, swing dancing, and hilarious dinner theater. Learn the ways of the cowboy by attending workshops and clinics teaching roping, cooking and more. Stampede over to the art exhibits, cowboy poetry readings and enjoy the tradition of cowboy storytelling.
